Taking Care in Challenging Times
Have you ever thought about scheduling at least 15 minutes sometime during the day just for you? Now busy Moms may think I have couple of screws loose; what Mom has 15 minutes for quiet time. However, remember we make time for what is important to us. The 15 minutes you savor each day for yourself, may result in a happier Mom, Dad, employer, employee….you get the point.
Here’s an idea: Turn off the TV, put the cell-phone on silent, pop in a video for the kids, close the door and just sit in silence with your thoughts. Focus on something positive. Despite problems and challenges, if you have faith in something beyond yourself, have your health, your family and friends, you are blessed.
Until next time…strive to achieve a Tranquil Spirit.

Lawyers Need Massage Therapy, Too!
I am a good referral for the busy lawyer who wants to enhance the quality of family time by scheduling a massage appointment.
I am available by appointment only for daytime, evening and Saturday appointments. I will also occassionally schedule an appointment on Sunday afternoon.

New Years' Resolutions - Six Months Later
The commitment to exercise regularly begins AGAIN, quickly followed by muscle aches and pain. I had a client tell me that he always cranks up his workouts at this time of year so he wanted to buy a series of massages in anticipation of his need for exercise related pain relief.
I am a good referral for the person who has resolved to get on better shape in 2009 and has slacked off during the first half of this year.

June Bride's Anniversary Gift
As we were discussing the arrangements, I got idea. For an additional charge I offered to get a bottle of Pink champayne or sparkling cider, strawberries, flowers, and/or chocolates to enhance the experience for his wife. He is giving my offer serious consideration.
I am a great referral for the spouse that may lack time and creativity, but wants their beloved to feel appreciated and special on their special day.

Welcome to The Tranquil Spirit Center’s Blog
Welcome to The Tranquil Spirit Center’s inaugural Blog post!
I am often asked why I became a massage therapist? Quite frankly, about twelve years ago I realized my life was horribly out of balance. I was completely focused on my career and had no hobbies. I needed to do something to remind me of what brings me true joy, which is to nurture others and help them manage stress and enhance wellness. The search for a hobby led me to my business. The Tranquil Spirit Center is a wonderful place to come for massage, reflexology, or a hot stone massage treatment in a cozy environment, with personalized service, away from the commotion of daily life. Stay tuned for the next blog for information about how massage may help diminish the pain we feel a day or two after exercise.
Have a Tranquil day!
