Why I Love My Job!
I love my work as a massage therapist because I get to see immediate results from the work I do with my clients. Today I had a client that had never had a professional massage. After a 30 minute neck and back mini massage, she said she felt very relaxed and left with a big smile. Several hours later I heard that she intends to return on a regular basis. Being a massage therapist is such a blessing!

How Often Should I Get a Massage
Prospective clients often wonder how frequently they should get a massage.
The answer: It depends on the individual client.
Muscle pain resulting from a specific instance of overexertion may be relieved in
one or two 30-minute visits. Long term muscle pain resulting from
stress, occupational factors, or recreational activity may require an ongoing
program of weekly, every other week, or monthly massage.

Scar tissue and Massage
Scar tissue from injuries can limit range of motion and cause pain and
discomfort. Massage focused on the area of concern can relieve the
problem over time. Someone that has an incision that has healed but is
still causing problems should give massage therapy.
